Getting in touch with Wisdom – Ishmael O. Anane
Let me begin with this, wisdom is a person.
Proverbs 9:1 Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars: 2 She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table. 3 She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city,..
Job 6:13 Is not my help in me? and is wisdom driven quite from me?
Job 12:2 No doubt but ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you.
Now, after knowing that wisdom is a person, it is also expedient to know that wisdom comes in four different personalities; that is, divine personality, diabolic personality, intellectual personality and natural personality. With these four personalities, with the exception of the wisdom with divine personality, all other three perishes with their carriers with time.
Please follow me carefully because we are going somewhere together.
For the purpose of this exhortation, our focus is to know how to get in touch with the divine personality of wisdom…. Somewhere in the book of Job, we heard the man of God asking a question as to the place to locate wisdom.
Job 28:12 But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?
So the same question Job asked is what we are also diving to get answer about now as a people. In 2 Chronicles 1:10-12 and James 1:5, we saw that the location of wisdom is in God…
2Chronicles 1:10 Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great? 11 And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king: 12 Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Now let’s quickly jump to 1 Corinthians 1:24…. 1Cor 1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
So you see, getting in touch with the personality of wisdom is absolutely and solely possible only when we recognize that this wisdom is personified in the man Christ Jesus the Lord and are ready to draw this wisdom into our being.
I see you entering into the room of wisdom beginning from now in Jesus name, Amen.
A man outside wisdom is opened to a constant stagnation in life therefore I pray for someone interested, may my God cause your tabernacles to flourish constantly with wisdom in Jesus name.
Now let me pick it from where i ended yesterday. We understood yesterday that the more of Jesus our Lord you and i have, the wiser we become. But we know from the gospel according to John the Apostle chapter number 1 from the verse 1 that the Lord Jesus is the Word of God therefore we can say that the more of God’s word you and i know, the more wiser we become.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
So the man David put it this way, “
Psalms 119:98 Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. 99 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. 100 I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.
Please understand that commandments in verse 98, testimonies in verse 99 and precepts in verse 100 all points towards God’s Word.
Now the question one may ask is what at all is in God’s Word that is able to make us wise. Join me as we read something in the book of Isaiah.
Isaiah 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: :2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and………….
Please note that the verse 1 of Isaiah 11 was talking about the Lord Jesus. So inside Jesus (the Word) is the spirit of wisdom. Hallelujah praise God!!!!!!, so you see child of God, you get in touch with the spirit that sponsors wisdom the more you draw from the Word. So primarily, the Word of God is that which enrich a person with wisdom. So the Apostle Paul charge the believers this way,”
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” So we see that the Word of God is a precursor for the operations of wisdom in the life of the believer.
I pray for someone reading this script, may the Lord open your eyes and heart to His wisdom as you tarry with His Word in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
